with_my_teacup[Howdy barge. This is Taras: Taras looks astonishingly like Richard Riddick if Riddick had bluegreen eyes and dressed more like a guerilla fighter in the rags and tag of battle armor and a uniform instead of an escaped prisoner in the rags and tags of work clothes.
Also, well maintained beard, and general lack of smirk. Taras actually smiles as if there's something to be happy about, if not often.]
So I've been going through the records; I'm here replacing a man called Riddick. Who is some kind of vision of my life if my parents had died in the sack of Furya, I'm aware.
But he's not here; I am. I am Taras Mankiller of Furya. I have no reason to harm anyone here. I'm not your prisoner; I'll be gone in a few days and don't see a need to speed up that process.
So: I don't think it's unreasonable to ask to be let into the bar and the artificial environment system. It's been a while since I've been planetside. [The Furyan base Taras is attached to is inside an asteroid. Very rocky. Very, very dull.]
[Riddick is fairly obviously Affected; with the Lord Marshal absent, he wasn't orphaned and left in a dumpster... but is in fact Taras Mankiller, Furyan loyalist and warrior. Much less defensive, but also sadly not as good at improvised weaponry.]
