Oh boy, I like the sound of that...do you think I can send files over this thing? I've got most of mine backed up on here somewhere. It's much, much easier to keep organized that way. Plus no need for scrawling adjustments in the margins.

It's been...about the same for us, on this end? Give or take. Glad to hear about the ship, though. I've heard the stories. Eeesh.

File transfer should be working... I'll have to scan mine in, they're mostly handwritten on the fly.

Really, this place ain't so bad right up until it is. Most of the time it's even tolerable.

[He fiddles around with some things on the console - and luckily there are no ridiculously lengthy "warming up" bars, any more - and then backs off, grinning cheerfully.] There we are! Be sure and try the one for five-layer spinach lasagna, it's divine. Oh, and I think there's an apple cobbler variation in there Megamind hasn't even gotten to try yet.

Tolerable sounds...tolerable. Bear in mind, when I said I've heard stories, I think he tries to spare me the ugliest details. But I can read between the lines. I just hope he - and everyone - is staying safe.
