[It isn't Minion who first responds -- it's Partner, who recognizes his voice and comes running over to the screen, trying to get up on his hind legs to 'greet' him.

After about half a minute Minion hears the commotion and comes on clanking over.]

Why, hello there! Sorry about this, he's not usually so enthusiastic...though he is a good boy. Yes, aren't you? Who's a good boy? Who has big floppy ears and a partially exposed ribcage, awww. C'mon, get down...

[Minion backs off, hands up as Partner sits, obediently. Even if he didn't recognize the name, the way the creature is reacting makes it pretty obvious who this must be.]

Riddick! It's nice to finally meet you, I've heard great things. And, interesting ones. Which are also great.

How are things going for you all aboard the ship?

By my timeline it's only been a couple weeks since Partner left to stay with you guys-- barge hasn't crashed or been taken over yet, so. [He shrugs. Some days that's the best you can get.]

Oh boy, I like the sound of that...do you think I can send files over this thing? I've got most of mine backed up on here somewhere. It's much, much easier to keep organized that way. Plus no need for scrawling adjustments in the margins.

[Riddick stares back at him, his gaze blank from the outside, hidden behind his goggles. He looks not unlike a tomcat sizing up a big hawk and wondering if he's supposed to be fighting it.]

It's been... different. So different to the Barge, but it's very different from the Factory as well.

What's it like there, I guess? Is it nice?

[Are you all nice to Arthas? Is he well treated? Two and the start of a third conversation over three years and she's falling back into that place where he's her little brother again, and not this terrifying thing that may come for her in the night.]

It's sort of fucked up here, but the food's good and the accomodations are plush. It's not 'nice', but it has its 'nice' patches.

It's like hell, though, you come here for the people.
