I'd like a bottle of Shiraz and a night in the CES, if that's a'ight.

[Impairment is not a thing that Riddick does for fun. He hasn't drunk socially since before his first prison stint-- and he didn't like it much, then, because showing vulnerability in front of others just doesn't do it for him. Why the hell he's convinced that it's a good idea to actually get drunk in front of a known hostile-- who he considers a friend, but he's not stupid enough to think that his winning fucking personality is going to fix Arthas' complete lack of empathy-- is anyone's guess. He sure doesn't know.
He asked for a Shiraz specifically for the novelty, because this time he gets to take it to the dome and not have to survive a swarm of hungry mammalosectoids while desperately pretending not to be drunk so that certain now-dismembered bounty hunters didn't get any stupid ideas.
Not that Johns hadn't gotten real, real stupid by the end there. And there was a big shining inspiration not to get under the influence all by itself itself.
