Testing out a new option to save time. Specifically right now we need a warden supe for lunch shift, until Ben comes home. If you're not used to working on a line or feeding a lot of people, we won't drop you into combat with no training. Marsh and I will help you out.

Oh. Not related to the kitchen-- I smelled a still running last month. Whoever it is, I want to pick your brain about fermentation.

If by 'house elves' you mean 'the kitchen staff'... no. Not actually all that many. Averages out about three per shift.

Three per shift, nine working at any given time. And I'm only a wizard with a carving knife, by which I mean metaphorically.

So you don't use magic to prepare your foods.

Ben uses his enhanced speed when he's around, but that's not magic. So generally, nah, we don't.

Mmn. You might find it helpful. It makes washing dishes a breeze.

It's not currently an option. We're short on magic. Allomancy yeah, magic no.
